- Place Name Search
Geoscience Australia web site providing search options to find the location of places in Australia. The query searches the Gazetteer of Australia 2008 which is a compilation of geographic names in Australia.
- Queensland Historical Atlas
The Atlas utilises hundreds of maps from Queensland and Australia’s history to anchor stories, and to examine the importance of spatial resources in the Queensland landscape.

- D.A.V.E. (Digital Audio Visual Environment or DAVE)
DAF's web-based library for storing and managing digital assets such as photo, videos and audio files. Registration required.
- DPI&F Legacy Scientific Image Collection
The former DPI Image Library (since decommissioned) has been preserved as a legacy data set on an internal Information Management SharePoint site.
- Animal Science Image Gallery
A searchable gallery of peer-reviewed images, developed by the USDA National Agricultural Library in collaboration with the American Society of Animal Science.
- Australian National Botanic Gardens National Plant Photographic Index
Over 6,000 digital online images.
- Botanical Society of America online image collection
A collection of approximately 800 images available for instructional use.
- Integrated Pest Management Images
An archive of images related to Agriculture and Integrated Pest Management, most of which are in the realm of public sector images.
- PaDIL: Pests and Diseases Image Library
An Australian resource offering high-quality colour diagnostic images and information on pests and diseases along with a number of comparative native species. PaDIL helps protect against invasive threats to Australia's economy, environment, human health and amenity.
- QImagery : Queensland historical aerial photo library
Explore how the Queensland landscape has changed through an online aerial photo library. With over 800,000 historical images from every corner of Queensland, it is easy to access and you can search for and download images at no cost.
