Requesting a Literature Search

RIS staff can perform a literature search on your behalf. As expert information professionals, we have the knowledge and skills to construct effective searches and run them across a variety of platforms.

What we will do:

  • Construct a search strategy and run across our scientific research databases - Scopus, CABI and our full-text databases and some online sources.
  • Deliver a bibliography of results with links to full-text, in your preferred format - Endnote Library or Word Document.
  • We may send a sample of results and seek feedback and adapt the search strategies as required.

What we need from you:

  • Complete a Literature Search form:
    • Describe your topic and list relevant keywords
    • Include a date range - ie. research from the last 5 years, 10 years?
    • Australian or International sources, or both?
    • Preferred format for results - Endnote Library or Word Document
